World Obesity’s partner and member, the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO), has announced a webinar to mark the launch of new bariatric surgery guidelines. The IFSO-ASMBS New Guidelines on Indications for Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery will be published Friday 21 October. This new document replaces the Consensus Guidelines produced by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in 1991. Members and friends of World Obesity are invited to attend the webinar which will take place on the launch date of 21 October 2022. See registration link for local times.
